BBC weatherman Owain Wyn Evans said he was "overwhelmed" after completing a 24-hour drumathon for BBC Children in Need.
The broadcaster raised more than £2m with the challenge he began on BBC Breakfast on Friday morning.
His rhythmical skills drew praise at the start of lockdown in 2020, when he performed a rendition of the BBC News theme that took social media by storm.
If you haven't seen the the drumathon where he was joined by 50 other drummers playing the BBC News signature tune then please watch the video on the link below.

It was £1.6 million this morning
When I looked.£2 million for such a good cause. What a fantastic guy. Them kids need it. If you google what they do activities for kids etc. It’s amazing what a difference they make to the lives of kids who through no fault of there own have an unenviable childhood ahead of them.Nice guy.

North West news has been gushing for weeks about him "playing the drums for 24 hours " well if tapping one drum stick on a drum is "playing" the drums then I'm Buddy Rich. For the people of the North West a bloke from Oldham who ran 7 Marathons in 7 days earlier this year is running 100 miles from Leicester to Leeds in 24 hours now that IS A FEAT worth talking about a bit harder than sitting on his arris tapping a stick one handed on a drum.
Kevin Sinfield is the name Rugby is the game he is former captain of Leeds RFLC and now a Coach at Leicester Tigers RUFC. Has anyone heard him mentioned on NW News.

I think Kevin Sinfield will be horrified that you are bigging up his charity work at the expense of another charity. You obviously spent no time watching Owain or you would have seen the work and effort he put into that 24 hours

Got to say, the playing of the BBC tune by many drummers was fantastic.
