Paul Woods of Military Mart in Burscough's keen to work with local councils and councillors to discuss opening a museum recognising the borough's significant military heritage stretching back to Cromwell's visit to Lathom to the important 'War Horse' story.
His idea got the thumbs up from members of the local Military Vehicle Trust who met in glorious weather on Saturday afternoon the hard standing proving ideal after recent wet weather meant meeting at The Heatons Bridge pub would not be practical.
